Citrix Value Add to Azure Virtual Desktop
As remote work continues to be the norm, Desktop-as-a service (DaaS) has become even more important to many companies. Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), previously known as Windows Virtual Desktop, is a platform for delivering virtual desktops and apps from the Azure public cloud. So, if a customer needed to deploy virtual desktops and already has an entitlement to AVD, why would they want to use Citrix as well? Just like customers for decades utilized Citrix on top of RDS, Citrix provides a lot of additional value to customers deploying Azure Virtual Desktop.
